How to Properly take care of your hair extensions:

1. Detangle your hair with a wide tooth comb starting from the bottom and working your way to the top. DO NOT use a small or fine tooth comb to detangle your extensions because it will create damage and your hair will shed.

2. Wrap your hair at night especially if you are wearing a frontal or closure with a satin scarf or bonnet. This is great for the hair because it avoids friction and breakage on your lace. You have to treat your lace with lots of care. Using a silk bonnet or a silk scarf will help the hair maintain its luster and longivity.

3. Wash and condition your hair at least once every week or every two weeks. Use a co-wash shampoo and a deep moisturizing conditioner.

4.Curly hair is very important to keep moisturized and properly detangled. Keep a spray bottle with a water and conditioner mixture on hand to do touch ups throughout the day. Use step 1 to also properly detangle curly hair as well.

Also using silk bonnets and silk scarfs will help the hair maintain its luster and longivity.
